We basically know everything about the Pixel 4 despite it not being unveiled yet by Google, thanks to a multitude of leaks. My current phone is a first generation Razer Phone, I love it but I’ve had it for a couple of years now and it will soon be time to change.
Here’s a summary of all the leaks and information so far https://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-4-xl-990519/
I’ve always liked the Pixel line and the Pixel 4 looks like it will be right up my street. Google’s ability to get the best of the Pixel’s camera with their software on the Pixel 3 impressed me a lot and overall I like the design of them, the new one appeals to me a lot, I think they have implemented the camera modules better than Apple have with the iPhone 11.
I was hoping that the Pixel 4 would have a higher refresh rate display and so it seems to be with one of the leaks revealing a 90hz display, not quite as fast as my current phone at 120hz but it will definitely be smoother than the Pixel 3.
Being part of Google’s ecosystem has its advantages too with frequent security updates and receiving Android firmware updates before most other phones.
Three colours have been seen so far, black, white and coral. For me I think I’ll be going for the white one, but that’s subjective of course.
Google have announced they will show off the phone on the 15th October.
